DESCRIPTION: RUST CONVERTER
PROPERTIES:
CONVER-OX neutralizes the corrosion process. It reacts quickly with oxide and transforms it into a black / bluish metal-organic complex, which acts as a preventive against future corrosion problems.
This is what is called passivation of the metal.
Total reaction time is approximately 2-3 hours
No need to rinse with water after treatment.
CONVER-OX applied correctly does not leave residual rust traces that can promote subsequent corrosion.
The film formed on the metal substrate is insoluble in water.
CONVER-OX is an excellent adhesion promoter for subsequent treatments: paints, varnishes ...
CONVER-OX can be applied on partially rusted surfaces.
Can be applied to surfaces that have been sandblasted to prevent oxidation caused by some water-based paints or primers.
