About vendor
Focus on standards EN 45545-2 and EN 45545-3 and the process of product compliance and future regulatory and regulatory developments.
All materials used for railway applications (deck coverings, bulkheads, insulation, etc.) must meet strict requirements in terms of incombustibility, flame spread, opacity and toxicity of the fumes emitted during a fire (reaction to fire), and in terms of sealing and thermal insulation (fire resistance).
The evolution of EN 45545-2 and EN 45545-3 raises many questions:
-What are the objectives of the EN 45545-2 and EN 45545-3 standards?
-What are the normative evolutions to come?
-How do they determine the conformity of materials and systems?
The subject may seem complex, but we have developed a simple and effective pedagogical approach to understand these standards and to discover the main evolutions to come with the revision of the EN 45545 series.
To cover this perimeter, we have invited known and recognized experts
-M. Guillaume CRAVEUR — SNCF
-M. Jean-Jacques DINDELEUX — ALSTOM
-M. Skander KHELIFI — CREPIM
-M. Fouad LAOUTID — MATERIANOVA
-M. Gérard MAERTEN — ORCA / PENNEL & FLIPO
-Mme. Gülay BOZOKLU CLAUDEL — STRATASYS
-M. MULLOT, HEAD OF COMPOSITES - VONROLL
This will be combined with fire test demonstrations according to the various references in order to better understand the measures related to the flame propagation, the opacity and the toxicity of the fumes.

CREPIM
CREPIM: fire test expert CREPIM develops, guaranties and qualifies the fire performances of materials and assemblies for all concerned areas, featuring the mass transportation sectors (railway, aviation and maritime), as well as in the construction, electric products, and textile sectors. For manufacturers, CREPIM represents a key opportunity to be in direct contact with the requirements of the various European markets, and also guarantees them a straight access to these markets. CREPIM releases each year more than 1500 tests reports worldwide. The test reports released by the CREPIM are recognised worldwide - ACCREDITATION and CERTIFER recognition). CREPIM organisation features four divisions: (i) Development, (ii) Testing division, (iii) CE marking- Construction Product Regulation –and Certification division and (iv) Training division. The whole team includes 20 people featuring, for a large part, chemists, (MSc, doctors and senior scientists) For manufacturers, CREPIM represents a key opportunity to be in direct contact with the requirements of the various European markets, and also guarantees them a straight access to these markets.
