The FLAT WAGON CPc 50T is designed with bogie concept and suitable for construction and maintenance of railway lines. The wagon has been designed in respect with generic railway norms.
Main characteristics:
- Metal base-frame calculated in order to withstand the insertion of the vehicle within a similar railway machines and also to support the stresses arising from the track
- Can be used on flat bottom rails or grooved rails.
- Railway wheel arrangement, designed with bogie concept;
- Suspensions system able to absorb the shocks coming from the track and to ensure the safe movements in both straight and curved alignment, even in worst operating condition
- Prearranged for the fixation of Rockinger coupling and buffers (on each headstock)
- Braking system powered through the flexible pneumatic connection fitted on each headstock of the wagon. The braking system ensures the required performances in every possible condition, by means brake linkages that acts, through pneumatic actuators, on the brake pads placed on each wheel (4nos pads for each wheel); it will be also provided a manual parking brake system, activated by wheels fitted on each bogie
- There are 3 loading areas, 1 central loading area (6.2m length) and 2 additional loading areas, located on each extremity of the wagon (each one with length of 4,5m) that could be used for loading various materials.
