A propos du vendeur
The Flexx Urban™ frameless bogie is a modular bogie platform designed for 100% low-floor tram vehicles using portal axle technology and independently rotating wheels.
It is available in both motor bogie and trailer bogie configurations, sharing a high level of component commonality and interchangeability.
The design is based on proven Alstom portal-axle technology with a strong focus on robustness, reliability and lifecycle cost efficiency.
Modular architecture simplifies maintenance and minimizes spare parts inventory through common components across bogie variants.
The motor bogie features four externally mounted traction units and two portal axles, preserving the vehicle’s low-floor layout while ensuring excellent accessibility.
Each traction unit consists of a water-cooled three-phase asynchronous motor, two-stage gearbox and flexible coupling.
The traction equipment is fully suspended, reducing unsprung mass and improving ride comfort and track friendliness.
The wheelset design uses independently rotating wheels with preloaded primary suspension, significantly reducing ground-borne vibrations and wheel/rail forces.
Double-row tapered roller bearings provide a design life exceeding 1.6 million km.
Primary suspension employs rubber-metal spring elements with integrated damping and a progressive end-stop system.
Secondary suspension combines coil springs, rubber-metal elements, vertical dampers and hydraulic lateral buffers for enhanced passenger comfort.
The bogie-to-carbody interface utilizes a parallel linkage system, eliminating the need for traditional bolsters and enabling easy bogie removal.
Motor bogies are equipped with electro-hydraulic disc brakes, while trailer bogies use fully suspended hydraulic spring-applied brake systems.
Every bogie is fitted with two electro-magnetic track brakes, providing additional emergency braking capability.
Integrated earthing and insulated return-current systems protect wheelset and gearbox bearings against
