Based in the heart of the UK, near Birmingham, Flexicon manufactures and supplies its products from a custom-built manufacturing, warehouse and sales operational centre. Flexicon products are independently tested to extremes to offer Customers assurance that our products will perform as expected. We are IRIS accredited for the design, development and manufacture of flexible conduit cable protection systems for rail applications and have Lloyds Register and UL approved products. The company’s products also meet a number of the latest international rail standards including EN 45545-2 to HL3 and have product registration certificates issued by London Underground. System integrity is essential for the safe functionality and continuous operation of rail and transport systems. Ingress protection and dynamic performance as well as vibration, constant movement & sudden inertia can compromise system performance. Flexicon Ultra™, the latest product innovation is a one-piece non-metallic fitting solution which offers fit and forget assurance when it comes to performance and integrity. With integrated sealing technology, providing superior IP levels of IP68 (2Bar) & IP69, these fittings offer up to 70kg tensile strength (for 21mm) and provide anti vibration and shock protection to EN 61373 Cat 2. Simplicity & reliability is achieved with a push fit connection and the unique design offers a removal facility using a screwdriver. Our manufacturing facility is registered with BSI and approved to international quality standard ISO9001. Our products meet BS EN IEC 61386 which is internationally recognised and has replaced the original British Standards. We are therefore able to show the CE mark and to re-enforce this specification we have had the range third party certified by BSI. Whilst this certification is not compulsory we believe it gives the market a stronger message with regard to quality, specification and performance of our products.
